At Auralis ("we", "our", or "the Application"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our desktop application, in compliance with Microsoft Store developer policies and applicable data protection laws.

1. Information We Collect

To provide the best possible experience and ensure the proper functioning of our service (including Premium features), we collect the following categories of information:

When you choose to create an account or sign in (whether via email, Google, or Microsoft), we collect the basic information provided by the identity provider:

  • Full name or username.
  • Email address.
  • Securely generated unique user identifier (UID).

B. Subscription and Premium Status Data

We do not process or store credit card data or sensitive financial information on our servers. All payment processing is handled by our secure third-party payment provider. We only store your subscription status (Active/Inactive) in our database to enable Premium features on your device.

To improve Auralis performance and troubleshoot issues, we collect anonymous analytics data related to application usage, such as:

  • Frequency of use of certain features.
  • Error reports (crash logs) for technical diagnostics.
  • Basic runtime environment information (operating system version).

D. Local Device Data

Auralis stores local configuration information and cached data directly on your computer so the application can operate quickly and smoothly. This local data is not transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain the service: Authenticate your identity and securely maintain your active session.
  • Manage Premium features: Verify your subscription status to unlock exclusive features.
  • Improve the application: Analyze usage metrics and error reports to release updates, fix technical issues, and enhance the desktop user experience.

3. Third-Party Services

Auralis integrates third-party services strictly for the operational functioning of the application. These services maintain their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Auth and Firestore services for secure identity management, encrypted user profile storage, and cloud synchronization of subscription status.
  • YouTube API Services: The application interacts with YouTube services for multimedia content search and playback, subject to their respective Terms of Service.
  • Authentication Providers (Google / Microsoft): Used exclusively to facilitate secure sign-in ("Single Sign-On").
  • Payment Processing Services: We use secure external platforms to handle Premium subscription transactions.

Auralis does NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.

4. Data Retention and Security
